1. When a Security Deposit Applies
Certain rental products may require a refundable security deposit. The requirement and amount may vary depending on the product, its value, rental category and booking circumstances. The applicable amount will be communicated before the rental is handed over.

2. Payment of Security Deposit
Unless otherwise communicated, the security deposit is payable at the time of pickup and must be received before the rented product is handed over to the customer.

3. Purpose of the Deposit
The security deposit is held temporarily as protection against damage, loss, missing items, unauthorized alterations, excessive stains, late return or other violations of the applicable Rental Terms.

4. Refund of Security Deposit
After the rented product is returned, Luxury Rent will inspect the garment and all included components. If everything is returned on time and in acceptable condition, the refundable security deposit will be returned to the customer.

5. Possible Deductions
Reasonable deductions may be made where applicable for repair, professional restoration, missing components, excessive cleaning, late return, unauthorized alterations, damage or other losses attributable to the rental.

6. Damage Beyond Repair or Loss
If a rented product is lost, stolen or damaged beyond reasonable repair, Luxury Rent may retain part or all of the security deposit and may seek any additional amount reasonably required to cover the actual loss, repair cost or replacement value.

7. Normal Wear
Minor signs of normal and reasonable wear associated with proper use of a rental garment will not automatically result in a deduction. Luxury Rent will assess the returned product reasonably based on its condition before and after the rental.

8. Inspection Period
Refund of the security deposit may be processed only after the returned product has been inspected. Where additional assessment, cleaning or repair evaluation is reasonably required, the refund may take longer.

9. Refund Method
Where possible, the security deposit will be refunded through an appropriate payment method communicated between Luxury Rent and the customer.
